A Founder Who Gets It

I grew up in a tiny town in Missouri with five brothers, so I learned early how to hold my own, to speak up, to be quiet, and to survive in the midst of chaos. I knew they had my back, but I grew up a little tougher and a little more resilient. I loved it!

I left my hometown cocoon for the big city (Kansas City, MO) at 19 and got a crash course in life. Years later the world continues to surprise me and I now live in Louisville, Kentucky—still learning, still growing, still grateful.

Through it all, I've learned that success isn't just about hard work—in life or in business—it's about being organized and disciplined, finding ways to make mundane tasks easier, and knowing it's safe to lean on others when needed.

With over 20 years of business management experience (law firms & investment firm)—including my own retail shop—and years of working in QuickBooks and now as a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, I combine it all into my own bookkeeping practice.
